A few months ago, Rudi from SV Alma kindly volunteered to administrate the Dorians from West-East transat Whatsapo groups.
There are two W-E chat channels, which have been active for some weeks. They are, as of today, integrated into the main "Finding Dory IV" whatsapp group community:

The Finding Dory IV Chronicles:

These "Chronicles" are our attempt in "preserving" some of the knowledge and experiences we gathered during the Finding Dory IV E-W transat. Most of the intormation is pretty "timeless": tips on anchorages, provisioning spots, general routing information, etc etc... There is one Chronicle per Chat channel - so six Chronicles in total.
The Chronicles were painstakingly compiled and shaped by Tina from SV Mira Cariba (who also developed our logos etc..).

Please also join our group “Finding Dory IV” on “Noforeignland (NFL)” (via the app or website). - This is the platform we use to track our fleet as we move to the Canaries-Cape Verde/Africa, and go across the Atlantic; and aksi track the W-E transat fleet. In this NFL group, we also have some “chats with longer shelf-life” - including all links for the webinars - and the introduction of most members (since we started Finding Dory) - plus "end destinations"

May I gently encourage you to fill in the shared fleet spreadsheet with basic boat info and planning data (and try to keep the data updated)? It will help you (all of us) +- buddy boating (for as far as that is possible in long stretches) when we know +- who leaves when from where, with which major stop-overs (— Gib, Morocco, Canaries, Cape Verde etc…) and destinations..:
