I have reported in previous posts about FreeRice, the Internet game which translates your vocabulary skills into donations of rice to the hungry. Up to today, 18 billions grains of rice have been collected by all players.That starts to translate into REAL stuff. FreeRice donated over US$200,000 to the UN World Food Programme, resulting in actual rice going to refugees in Myanmar and Bangladesh:

Another great charity site is AIDtoCHILDREN.com. It donates money to children in need through World Vision.
